Traveling to Brock University
May 27-29, 2010
Travel to Brock from Buffalo
Airport
Niagara Airbus will deliver you right to the Hotel from the
airport, however, you must book ahead. Exact costs available when you book.
- Phone: 1.800.268.8111
The other option that might be more attractive for people who will
be arriving at the same time is 5-0 Taxi, which runs a limo service
from both airports (Toronto and Buffalo) and charges a car rate which
can be shared among passengers. You will also have to book with them.
-
Phone: 1.905.685.5464 and say you are wanting to book an
airport taxi.
Queenston Bridge is the closest to St.Catharines and the most direct from
the Airport, but one can also drive through Fort Erie or Buffalo.
Information for
those
Traveling from the US
At
the border, you will need a passport and depending on the time of day,it can
be relatively swift. Midday ( eg between 11-3 ) can be ugly ... up to two
or three hours waiting on weekdays and Saturdays can be quite ugly. Later in
the day( after 4:00) or earlier ( before 9:30) are good, if people want to
take that into account when booking flights. When traffic is good, the drive
from Buffalo airport can be done in 90 minutes or so.
Travel to Brock from Toronto Airport
Toronto is also approx 90 minutes from St.Catharines, but that highway
becomes one long parking lot between 7:30 am --9:30 am and between 3:00
pm-6:00 pm., also something to take into account when booking. Customs at
Toronto is relatively painless if people want to fly in directly. You will
also need your passport there.
